Our approach to privacy

Intacard Australia Pty Ltd ACN 126 565 151 (Intacard) respects your privacy. We have developed our own privacy principles which embody the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act).

We collect personal information when you apply for any of our products or in the course of using one of our products. Generally, if appropriate, we will tell you why we are collecting personal information and how we plan to use it, or these things will be obvious when we collect the information.

We handle personal information relying on the employee and related bodies corporate exemptions in the Privacy Act where those exemptions are relevant.

We value our younger customers' privacy, however in order to verify your identity and provide our service to you, we may need to discuss your application with your parent or guardian.
