    Intacard is better than travel cheques and cash for accessing your money whilst travelling. Mastercard and Visa are now accepted in over 210 countries worldwide. You can use your card to purchase goods and services from millions of merchants and over 1 million ATMs.

    Pre-load your card before you go or top it up via internet banking whilst travelling. Your card is linked to a bank account e-wallet. This means you can put money into your e-wallet at any amount above the cards balance limit ($1,000 without ID/ $25,000 with an ID check)

    Security

    With intacard you simply carry your debit card, not all of your cash. So you don't need your passport when you get your money and can leave it securely in the hotel.

    In addition, with intacard your travel money will not be linked to your normal bank account, so if your card gets lost or stolen you don't have to worry about your money back home. Also, if you leave an additional card with a family member before you depart, they will be able to quickly transfer money to you in the event of an emergency. You can also order an additional card to leave in your hotel safe, so if your card does go missing, you have a back up card ready to use.
    Convenience
    Rather than taking all your travel money in cash or travellers cheques, you can load money onto your Intacard to use whilst travelling. You can withdraw the money you need in the local currency from any ATM or store worldwide displaying the Cirrus Maestro, Visa or MasterCard acceptance mark (depending on which card you chose).

    Peace of mind

    As the intacard is a prepaid card, you only spend the amount you have topped up onto the account. If you do run into trouble and need extra money, then if you left an additional card with a family member they can get you out of trouble.
